Brand before build
The hammock mark, the blue-and-gold palette, and their easygoing voice came first, then shaped every page that followed.
Brand Identity · Logo · Website · WordPress
A taproom and brewery site where the hammock-life identity anchors the whole brand, right down to the smallest detail.
A community taproom and brewery in Hamden, CT, with live music, trivia and music-bingo nights, cornhole, rotating food trucks, and beers the regulars helped name. The whole idea is to not take life too seriously, which is easy enough with a hammock in one hand and a beer in the other. That's the no-worries spirit the place runs on.
The challenge
Tap lists, an events calendar, private-room bookings with deposit tiers, an online shop: all of it fighting to bury the one thing that makes the place the place. So we built the brand first, then made every page pass a single test: does this still feel like No Worries Beer?
Three decisions that kept the personality intact while the site did a lot of work.
The hammock mark, the blue-and-gold palette, and their easygoing voice came first, then shaped every page that followed.
Content organized around how people actually visit: see it, find what's on tap, book a room.
The same voice from the homepage hero down to the room-rules fine print.
The outcome
The mark, the voice, the whole hammock-life world didn't just decorate the taproom. It drew people to it. Regulars told the owners the branding and logo were half the reason they came in the first time. The site carries that same identity, so the welcome online is the one you get at the door.
Let's build something that sounds like you.
