Questions Before You Reach Out

Straight answers to the things small-business owners ask most before starting a website project.

Common questions

Who is Casita Labs best for?

Small and growing businesses that need a stronger, more credible website, especially owners who've outgrown a dated, generic, or DIY site. Casita Labs works often with trades, service businesses, breweries and hospitality, and specialty retail.

What does a typical project include?

A custom, design-led website built around your business: a clear plan, custom pages rather than a template skin, and direct communication from the first call through launch. The exact scope depends on your goals, which is what the intro call is for.

How does the first step work?

It starts with a 20-minute intro call. You tell us about your business and current site, we talk through fit and the right starting point, and there's no pressure to commit. We respond to inquiries within 1 business day.

Should I start with a full build or a website review?

If you don't have a site yet, or you already know you want a rebuild, start with the intro call. If you have an existing site and want direction before committing to anything bigger, a website review is an easier starting point. Both lead to the same conversation.

How much does a website cost?

Cost depends on scope. A focused single-page site is very different from a larger custom build. Rather than post a number that may not fit your project, we talk budget directly on the intro call so the recommendation matches what you actually need.

What does the Website Review include?

The paid Website Review is a $100 full audit of up to 5 pages. You receive a written report plus a follow-up call, delivered 5 business days from project and scope acceptance.

Who owns the site and content after a project?

Ownership is clarified in each project agreement so there is no ambiguity before work starts. The goal is straightforward: you should understand what you own, what Casita Labs is responsible for, and what any outside tools or platforms control.

How do revisions work?

Revision expectations are set in the project scope before the build starts. The process includes review points while the direction is still easy to adjust, so feedback is handled deliberately instead of saved for a stressful final pass.

Do you only work with local businesses?

No. Casita Labs is remote-friendly and works with small and growing businesses across the US, not just one local area.

What do you need from me to get started?

To begin, just a sense of your business, your current site (if you have one), and what you're hoping to improve. The strategy and plan step covers exactly what's needed before the build. You won't have to become a web expert.

Still have a question?

The fastest way to get a clear answer is a short intro call. Tell us what you're working on and we'll take it from there.
